Warranty/Shipping Terms & Conditions

The SolarCat comes with a limited warranty that covers all manufacturing defects with components or workmanship encountered in normal use of the products for 12 months from the date of shipping. Warranty covers any manufacturing defects with components, design, or workmanship. Unauthorized repairs or modifications may void warranty. Use of non-authorized or non-OEM parts may void warranty. Wear or damage from use is not covered under this warranty. Neglect, abuse, misuse, accident, improper storage, or failure to follow maintenance and use instructions provided by Sub Sea Systems may invalidate the warranty. Warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper operation, careless handling, not following instructions and/or electric shock damage. In marine (salt water) environments, the SolarCat must be removed from the water daily when not in use. (This condition does not apply to fresh water use.) Failure to remove the SolarCat from an immersive marine environment may void warranty.

Shipping charges are determined by the weight and size of the product, the number of packages and the delivery postal code or destination port/airport. All shipments are insured at full value. For a shipping estimate, please email info@solarcatsusa.com with a list of the products you’d like to order, as well as your destination city, state, country and postal code. If you would prefer to arrange your own shipping and handling, please reach out to info@solarcatsusa.com to coordinate.

Any claims for goods damaged in transit must be made within 24 hours of receipt. You must take photos of the damage and retain all packaging materials in order for an insurance claim to be filed.

International Shipments

For international air and/or ocean freight quotes, please email info@solarcatusa.com. Be advised that you will be subject to the customs duties, import tax and any local clearance fees applicable in your country. Additionally, some products may be subject to certain import restrictions specific to your country. We highly recommend you communicate with your local officials to determine the import eligibility of the SolarCat product.

SolarCat Return Policy

You can initiate a return of a new, unused SolarCat product within 30 days of receipt. You must return items in new or unused condition with all original materials included with the shipment. We must receive your returned items at our facility within 45 days of delivery. We inspect all returned items and award a partial refund for opened or used products (see details below). For all returns, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are not subject to a refund. If the return is a result of a defective product, we will refund the full cost of the merchandise and shipping charges.

  • For a full refund, not including shipping, the SolarCat must be in unopened boxes.
  • If the boxes are opened and the SolarCat is not assembled, a 10% restocking fee will apply.
  • If the boxes are opened and the SolarCat is partially or wholly assembled, a 20% restocking fee will apply. Additionally, the SolarCat must be disassembled and repackaged in the same manner that it was received in order to initiate the return.

Defective Product

You may return defective items for a replacement or refund. When we receive your return, we will inspect the item and communicate with you the options for a replacement or a refund. If the product is not defective, return shipping fees will apply and/or a partial refund may be issued.

Refunds will be issued within 10 business days after receipt of the returned product.
